Google Analytics Going Real-Time
If you run a website and do not have Google Analytics, then you are missing out. Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has revamped Google Analytics to support real-time activity monitoring. Cloud Storage Company Box.net Raises $50 Million

Box.net has raised a new round of $50 million in funding. Investors in this round include Salesforce.com, Andreessen Horowitz, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Emergence Capital Partners, Meritech Capital Partners, Scale Venture Partners, and U.S. Venture Partners. Box.net has now raised a total of $128 million. Box.net has 7 million users and 300 million documents are stored on their service. Box.net was founded in 2005 by Aaron Levie and Dylan Smith in 2005. Groupon Launches Online Retail Service Called Groupon Goods

Groupon has launched an online retail division called Groupon Goods for people in the USA. Groupon Goods has deals on products like LED TVs and coffee brewers.

Amazon Launches Kindle Fire Tablet For $199

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has announced the Kindle Fire tablet computer. The Kindle Fire has a 7-inch display and sells for $199. While this may appear to be Amazon’s direct challenge to Apple’s $199 iPad tablet, the Kindle Fire tablet does not have a camera, microphone, or 3G wireless network connection. The Kindle Fire runs on Google’s Android software. The Kindle Fire can be ordered today. The Fire has WiFi connectivity and a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime. Blog Service Tumblr Raises $85 Million

Tumblr is a popular blogging service that has raised $85 million in a new round of funding. Tumblr is best known for simple blogging tools to post photos, videos, songs, etc. The investment in this round was led by Greylock Partners. Insight Venture Partners, the Chernin Group, Richard Branson, Spark Capital, Union Square Ventures, and Sequoia Capital also participated in this round.
