Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is preparing to start shipping the AirPort Express portable 802.11n base station. Currently Apple’s online store still has the “AirPort Express Base Station with 802.11n and AirTunes.” Apple is wrapping up the release of AirPort Utility 5.6 as well as pointed out in developer notes: “Adds support for the AirPort Express 802.11n (2nd Generation) base station.” Airport Utility 5.5.3 was released this past June.
