Groupon has launched an online retail division called Groupon Goods for people in the USA. Groupon Goods has deals on products like LED TVs and coffee brewers.

“(The offer is) already seeing good results,” stated a source with Reuters. “Groupon Goods is the buzz around Groupon. It can add significant impact to Groupon’s growth strategy.”

Last Wednesday, Groupon sent a batch of e-mails on discounts on different products like sunglasses and cutlery. It was not branded under Groupon Goods at the time. Former Citydeal co-founder Rajen Ruparell is leading Groupon Goods.
