Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) has acquired mobile and social ad targeting company OneRiot. OneRiot will be integrated into Walmart Labs. OneRiot recently shifted their business model from a search portal to monetizing its real-time ad network. Now OneRiot provides its social targeting service for mobile ads within apps.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has announced a new monthly plan that provides 250 anytime minutes and unlimited messaging for $25 starting on September 18th. Other prepaid services that are launching includes a $10 international long distance package which includes 250 minutes within a period of 30 days and per-use roaming in Canada at $0.39 per minute, $0.25 per message sent ($0.20 per message received). Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S) is ready to launch the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad on their network. Sprint would be joining Verizon and AT&T in the iPad data club. The iPad for Sprint is expected to be available starting this holiday season. Sprint is also believed to start offering the iPhone this holiday season too. According to sources with 9to5Mac, the new iPhone is expected to be launched on October 7th at a price of $199.
