Zynga Announces New Social Games Service Called Project Z

Zynga recently concluded a news event called Zynga Unleashed. At Zynga Unleashed, the company announced “Project Z.” a social games service that is enabled by Facebook Connect. Players can reserve their gamer identity tags, known as zTags, through Project Z.

Zynga announced several new games at Zynga Unleashed too. Zynga Dallas created the game CastleVille, which takes place in a medieval world. Zynga also announced Zynga Casino’s Zynga Bingo, Hidden Chronicles, Dream Zoo, and Mafia Wars 2.

Zynga also announced several games for Facebook Mobile app site built on HTML5 that are coming soon. The three games include Zynga Poker Mobile Web, Words With Friends HTML5, and Farmville Express.
