Paul Ceglia Tells Lawyer Not To Turn Over E-Mail Data

Paul Ceglia, the man that claims to own over half of Facebook, has told his lawyers not to comply with a court order to turn in e-mail data. Facebook had asked U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie Foschio in Buffalo, New York to request Paul Ceglia and his lawyers to turn over e-mail accounts and passwords.

Paul Ceglia claimed that he hired Mark Zuckerberg as a freshman at Harvard University in 2003 that guaranteed him a stake in Facebook. Facebook said that the contract was a forgery.

“I informed Mr. Ceglia that the court had ordered him to produce, among other things, accounts and passwords for all email accounts he had used since 2003,” said one of Ceglia’s lawyers Jeffrey Lake. “Mr. Ceglia instructed me not to comply with this provision and to bring the issue before (U.S.) District Judge (Richard) Arcara.”
