One of the greatest challenges for advertisers is engaging consumers as they drive down highways and walk around major cities where billboards are prominently displayed. Making billboards interactive is a great way to engage consumers and many brands have experimented with the concept. Below is a list of 12 innovative and creative interactive billboard examples:

Amnesty International

Amnesty International put up an interactive billboard with the theme “It Happens When Nobody Is Watching” to promote stopping domestic violence. The poster has an eye tracking camera that shows an image of a happy couple as the person passing by watches. When they look away, the billboard shifts to a different image of the man hitting the woman.
