Sling Media has announced a new app for Honeycomb (3.0) tablets that costs $29.99. This is the same cost that Sling Media charges for their mobile applications. The application allows Slingbox owners to watch home TV from their Android tablets. The Slingbox retails for over $180.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) is creating a feature for Photoshop that helps you anti-blur photos. Adobe demoed the feature at the company MAX 2011 event. In the demo, Adobe showed how the anti-blurring feature works. The anti-blur feature uses advanced algorithms to calculate movements of the camera at the time the image was taken and allows the user to “fix” the image by un-blurring it. Facebook has finally launched an app for the Apple iPad. The app for the iPad looks similar to the new app for the Apple iPhone. Facebook for iPad allows you to view the news feed, pinch a picture to zoom in, swipe the screen to page through albums, and navigate seamlessly from the left pane. You can play with Facebook games and apps in full-screen mode. The Facebook app for iPad also lets you record HD video and stream to Airplay devices. It is available for download now. [iTunes link]

Details about the death certificate of the late Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founder was revealed by Bloomberg today. Steve Jobs’ death certificate showed that he passed away in his home in Palo Alto, California of respiratory arrest caused by a pancreatic tumor at about 3PM on October 5. The occupation on his death certificate was listed as “entrepreneur” in the “high tech” business.

Abdulfattah ‘John’ Jandali is the biological father of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Every so often Jandali would send an e-mail to Steve Jobs saying “Happy birthday” or “I hope your health is improving.”

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) announced today that pre-orders of the iPhone 4S has topped over one million in a single day. This surpasses the 600,000 record that the iPhone 4 hit within 24 hours.

Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) has had a change of heart. Instead of splitting their DVD service into a new website called Qwikster, Netflix is planning on keeping DVD rentals available from within its own website again. “This means no change: one website, one account, one password… in other words, no Qwikster,” said Netflix founder and CEO Reed Hastings in a blog post. In May 2011, a company called Lodsys filed a lawsuit against Apple application developers that have in-app purchases claiming patent violation. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) sent their own team of lawyers to look into the issue and the lawsuits are currently on-going.
