According to sources with Bloomberg, Robbin will now be spearheading the development of an Apple television set. Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) has lost a lot of subscribers due to a price hike and after they separated their streaming and DVD businesses. Netflix ended the third quarter with 23.8 million subscribers in the third quarter, which is down about 810,000 subscribers from the quarter before. Netflix forecasted their subscriber base to be at around 24 million.

Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCL) has announced the acquisition of RightNow for $43 per share (about $1.5 billion). Oracle will be integrating RightNow’s cloud-based customer service offering to their own Public Cloud solutions. The acquisition price is a 20% premium on its closing price on Friday, October 21.
