T-Mobile Launches New Unlimited 4G Data Plans


T-Mobile has announced a no-contract 4G data plan through Wal-Mart exclusively. The new Monthly4G data plan is available for $60 per month and gives unlimited talk and text. You will also get 2GB of data at 4G speeds. For $3 per day, you will also get access to unlimited talk, text, and data. The first 200MB of data will also be at 4G speeds. At $1 per day, you can get unlimited text and 10 cents per minute for talk.

BillGuard Raises $10 Million In Series B


BillGuard has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Investors in this round includes Founders Fund, Innovation Endeavours, Bessemer, IA Ventures, Saul Klein, and Joe Lonsdale. The company previously raised $3 million in Series A this past February.

Social Navigation Company Waze Raises $30 Million


Waze is a social navigation company that has raised $30 million in funding. Investors in this round include Horizons Ventures Hong Kong (Li Ka-shing’s private venture investments), Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and the iFund. Waze has raised a total of over $55 million thus far.

Why Dropbox Turned Down An Apple Offer [VIDEO]


Forbes has put together an article about how Dropbox co-founders Arash Ferdowsi and Drew Houston turned down an offer from the late Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) CEO Steve Jobs. Jobs was impressed by how Dropbox was able to reverse-engineer Apple’s file system so that his startup’s logo appeared elegantly inside.

Twitter Hits 250 Million Tweets Per Day


At the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo has revealed an interesting milestone. Twitter is now hitting 250 million tweets per day. Twitter has gone from 90 million tweets per day in September 2010 to 100 million at the beginning of the year. Now Twitter is at 250 million, which is a 177% change.

8 Creative Examples Of Time Freeze Frame Videos


A freeze frame shot is when one shot is printed in a single frame several times in order to create an interesting illusion of a still photograph. One of the best uses of this video effect is during a bar scene in the movie “The Other Guys.” Often times motion-capture cameras are needed to produce the effect. After seeing this video effect, I decided to look for other great uses of time freeze.

Paul Ceglia Tells Lawyer Not To Turn Over E-Mail Data


Paul Ceglia, the man that claims to own over half of Facebook, has told his lawyers not to comply with a court order to turn in e-mail data. Facebook had asked U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie Foschio in Buffalo, New York to request Paul Ceglia and his lawyers to turn over e-mail accounts and passwords.
