Samsung To Start Selling Touch-Screen Computers With Windows 8 In 2012

Samsung Electronics is planning to start selling touch-screen computers that use the Windows 8 operating system in Q2 of next year. Likely the computer will be a modified version of the Series 7 computer which will have a touch screen and wireless keyboard said Samsung head of PC sales and marketing Uhm Kyu Ho at a media briefing.

On September 13, Microsoft unveiled the newest version of the Windows operating system. Samsung’s Series 7 computer is targeting business customers. Samsung is aiming to raise laptop computer sales by 80% to 18 million units this year.
