Facebook Acquires MailRank For The Talent

Facebook has hired MailRank in order to hire the two co-founders of the company. Through the acquisition, Facebook will be bringing in Bethanye McKinney Blount and Bryan O’Sullivan. The two are veterans at Linden Lab. Likely Facebook’s Director of Engineering and former Linden Lab CTO Cory Ondrejka played a role in this deal.

MailRank is a service that focuses on prioritizing e-mail. MailRank will be discontinuing the private beta of their service to focus on their jobs at Facebook. Bryan posted information about the companies open source technologies on the company blog.
