Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Samsung Electronics has announced that the Surface table called the SUR40 is now available for pre-order in over 23 countries. The SUR40 is slimmer than the original Microsoft Surface. The SUR40 has an Athlon X2 processor and a 40-inch multi-touch display.

Samsung was able to trim part of the body of the original Surface by using the Microsoft PixelSense technology. The PixelSense gives the SUR40 an LCD panel that “sees” the objects, movements, and touch gestures. You can pre-order a SUR40 for $8,400. Unfortunately there is no release date as of yet for the SUR40.
