General Cannabis Inc. has acquired Marijuana.com for $4.20 million. Clearly General Cannabis has a sense of humor when it comes to their financial deals too (420 is the slang symbol for marijuana). General Cannabis is a public company that is traded on the OTCQX market. About a year ago the company acquired WeedMaps, which is considered the “Yelp for Cannabis Dispensaries.”

WeedMaps was hitting $400,000 in monthly revenues since the time of their acquisition. This past July, WeedMaps hit $1 million in revenues and hits about 10 million page views per month. Marijuana.com is a bulletin forum that focuses on cannabis discussion. It receives 3.5 million page views per month.
