General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) has announced that they have created a network of cameras, radars, and ultrasonic sensors in the 2013 Cadillac XTS cars. This will help drivers avoid road hazards and help avoid potential crashes. In some cases, the 2013 Cadillac XTS will act without an action from the driver such as automatic braking based on obstacle driving.
Adult film production company Vivid Entertainment, LLC has sent a cease and desist letter to HTC about the HTC Vivid device for using that name. Vivid’s lawyers said that they are afraid that somehow consumers will think that the HTC Vivid smartphone is connected to the adult video company. Wow.

Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) is preparing to launch a digital wallet service called V.me. Consumers will be able to fund V.me with various credit card sources including Visa, MasterCard, or their bank account. V.me will be able to be used when checking out with a user name and password instead of using a 16 digit number each time.

Digg VP of Engineering Ben Folk-Williams has uploaded a screenshot of Digg’s traffic between May and October of this year. It appears that in the month of October, Digg.com received about 17 million unique visitors in traffic and this has been somewhat consistent since this past May. About 50% of the visitors were from the United States.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is internally testing out a social network on the website Socl.com. The name of the social network project is called Tulalip. Tulalip is described as a way to “Find what you need and Share what you know.” There is a log-in for both Facebook and Twitter.
