Samsung has announced a new system-on-chip developed for mobile devices. The Exynos 5250 has two Cortex-A15 chips clocked at 2GHz. The dual-core Exynos 5250 was created using a 32nm-low power HKMG process that is expected to double the performance that is compared to a 1.5GHz dual-core system-on-chip based on the Cortex-A9. The graphics performance of the Exynos 5250 is four times compared to the Cortex-A9 based application processors. The Samsung Exynos chip will also be used on high-end tablets that will be mass produced sometime in Q2 of next year. [Sammyhub]

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) CEO Meg Whitman has done an interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro. She said that HP’s decision on what to do with webOS software will be within two weeks.

Path is a “Smart Journal” app that helps you share the music you are listening to, where you are, who you are with, when you wake up, when you sleep, photos, and videos with people that you love. For those of you that use Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare, you can easily share photos, check-in to places, and tweet directly from Path as well. Spotify has announced a new app platform today at a press conference in New York City. Some of their earliest app platform partners include Rolling Stone and Last.fm. Third party application developers will be able to build HTML5 applications that utilizes Spotify’s features. Spotify will be able to find apps through the “App Finder” section in the desktop Spotify software.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has announced that they have redesigned their navigation user interface. Currently Google uses a black navigation bar across their different services.
