A couple of days ago, I wrote about how the FCC was seeking an administrative hearing of the proposed acquisition of T-Mobile by AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T). Now AT&T and Deutsche Telekom have pulled their application for approval from the FCC for the acquisition. This does not necessarily mean that AT&T is pulling out of the deal. They will be continuing to pursue the sale of Deutsche Telekom’s “wireless assets.”

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office opened an exhibit last week that focuses on the patents that listed Steve Jobs as an inventor. The exhibit is located in the atrium of the Patent office’s Madison Building headquarters. The free exhibit has a portrait gallery and a theater. The Steve Jobs exhibit has 30 giant iPhone display panels that displays the front pages from over 300 patent and trademark filings that has Jobs’ name on them. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Chief Research and Strategy Officer Craig Mundie was recently interviewed by Forbes. In the interview, Mundie suggested that he was not impressed much with Apple’s voice recognition service for the iPhone 4S known as Siri. “The TellMe facility has been in the Windows Phone 7 for more than a year.
