Google+ Adds Opt-In Facial Recognition To Photo Tagging

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has added facial recognition to the Google+ photo app. It is 100% opt-in so you don’t have to worry about privacy issues. The facial recognition feature is called “Find My Face.”

Using the feature is pretty straight-forward. When you opt in to “Find My Face,” the next time your friend uploads a photo that you are in, your name will appear as a suggested tag. It is pretty similar to Facebook’s facial recognition service.
