Pat Vaillancourt has set the record for the most number of websites addresses tattooed to his body. In total, he has over 10,000 URLs inked between his back and shoulders and he is pushing for 100,000. Here is his story:

In 2010 Vaillancourt decided that he wanted to set a world record. The 30 year old Quebec native is not an athlete, nor can he do any stunts. So he decided to get a lot of tattoos.

“I want to break a Guinness World Record, but more importantly, I want to help others. And this is my way of doing so,” stated Vaillancourt. People and businesses can pay $35 to have their URL tattooed on to Pat’s body and listed on his website: back2thelight.com. Half of the proceeds will be used to pay for his tattoos and the other half will be used for promoting his project. He hopes to raise about $3.5 million including expenses.

Initially Vaillancourt launched a website asking people to donate $10 for the Haiti Relief Fund, but nobody really paid any attention to it. That is when he decided to pursue this unusual idea. By the time Vaillancourt is done, he will be covered from his neck to his ankles. For anyone that is interested in donating to the cause, he also accepts Facebook and Twitter URLs.
