Apple executives have taken Jobs’ TV plans and they are going forward with them by talking with media executives at large companies about their plans. It turns out that Siri is a big part of those TV plans.

Shopmium is a mobile shopping service company that has raised $2.1 million from Accel Partners and ISAI. Shopmium launched in September 2011 and they allow large consumer brands to stay engaged with users through special offers and coupons that are pushed to smartphones. Between the company’s Android and iPhone apps, there was about 100,000 downloads in the first few weeks since launching in France. [TechCrunch]

YouHaveDownloaded is a website that lists information on more than 50 million users and what they have downloaded. This is a fraction of all public BitTorrent downloads.

In July 2008, TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington wrote a blog post saying that he wanted to build a simple web tablet for $200 in a blog post and that he was looking for partnerships. This was long before the Apple iPad was released. Long story short: Arrington made a partnership with Fusion Garage to develop the CrunchPad, prototypes were created, and then Fusion Garage ended up cutting off Arrington from the project, and renamed the CrunchPad to the JooJoo. Today it appears that Fusion Garage appears to be struggling financially. Fusion Garage’s PR firm McGrath Power and law firm Quinn Emmanuel decided to cut the company due to lack of payment. The Facebook for Android mobile application has finally surpassed iOS, which clearly indicates how fast Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is closing on the iPhone’s domination. The Android app launched in September 2009, which is more than a year after the iPhone Facebook app was released.

Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software company that has raised $14 million in Series B funding led by Accel Partners and Sunstone Capital. Andrew Braccia of Accel will be joining the board at Prezi. Prezi is based in Budapest, Hungary and was started in 2009 by Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy, and Peter Arvai.
