BlogFrog Raises $3.2 Million In Series A


BlogFrog is a mom blogger community network that has raised $3.2 million in Series A funding led by Grotech Ventures. David Cohen, founder of TechStars, also participated in this round of funding. BlogFrog is based in Denver, but they plan on opening a New York office with this round of funding.

BlogFrog currently has over 100,000 members on their website and 75,000 of them are qualified women bloggers with over 10,000 readers. BlogFrog plans on going after the male demographic next year by engaging in topics like sports, politics, and gaming.

BlogFrog plans to monetize conversations by adding sponsored conversations and sponsored communities. BlogFrog has communities on websites like Udi’s Gluten Free and Horizon Dairy.
