15 Google April Fools’ 2012 Pranks

It is April Fools Day today and we are starting to see some pretty great pranks on the Internet. Reddit added a Timeline, The Register UK published an article called “Apple patents the rectangle,” Conan O’Brien took over Mashable, Wikia rick roll’d us, TechCrunch wrote Sergey Brin is retiring, the Detroit Free Press announced that the Detroit Lions would have male cheerleaders, Engadget gave a review of an old Nokia phone, The Pirate Bay announced that they bought airspace in Greece, Meetup.com has a banner that says Vote No On Amendment 18 (makes selling liquor illegal), but Google has some of the best pranks of all. ¬†Below is a list of all of their pranks.
