Consumer Reports Calls iPad “Superb”
Consumer Reports has published an article about the new iPad. Consumer Reports praises and recommends the iPad because of the high-resolution screen, which “establishes a new benchmark in excellence, providing the best rendering of detail and color accuracy we’ve ever seen on a tablet display.”
They go on to say that performance on the new iPad is superb in virtually every way. The 5-megapixel took great photos, the Verizon 4G network was very fast, and the iPad has longer battery life than all other tablets. They confirmed that the iPad was warmer in its hottest spots than the iPad 2, but they did not find these temperatures to be a concern.
The new iPad has one of the best displays that Consumer Reports has seen. They said “it has remarkable fidelity, achieving the highest score we’ve ever recorded for color accuracy in a tablet. Colors are more saturated than on the iPad 2, making deeper shades more vibrant. And the new iPad’s screen lacks the slight bluish hue of the iPad 2′s screen, and has a warmer and more natural “color temperature” that becomes apparent when comparing white backgrounds displayed on the new and old iPads.”This article was written by Amit Chowdhry.
