Apple HDTV Believed To Have Siri, FaceTime, and AirPlay

CultofMac.com has a source that has seen the Apple HDTV set in action. According to their source, the Apple HDTV currently looks like Apple’s LED-backlit Cinema Displays, but is much bigger. It also has a built-in iSight camera for making free FaceTime video conference calls. It would also have Siri to help you find TV and movie content.

Late Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs revealed in his official bio that he has “finally cracked” the TV market and created a product that would change the industry. The TV would also have facial recognition and the ability to zoom into the user’s face and follow them as they walk around the room. This would allow the user to make video calls from the couch rather than having to stand in front of the TV. The mock-up above was designed by Dan Draper for CultOfMac. The Apple HDTV is expected to be released sometime in 2013.
