C&A Integrates Facebook Likes Into Their Clothes Racks

C&A is an international chain of fashion retail clothing stores. Their European head offices are in Vilvoorde (near Brussels) in Belgium. C&A has done something innovative with social media by connecting the racks of their shelves in Brazil to their Facebook “Likes.” In a program called “Fashion Like,” when a person “likes” certain items of clothing on the company’s Facebook page, that same number will displayed on the relevant clothes rack in real-time. This way customers will be able to see what the masses are liking before making a decision about what kind of clothes to buy.
