Verizon Signs Partnership With Color

Color founder Bill Nguyen has described his startup as being “in the wilderness,” but this happened in the past with Lala, another company he founded and eventually sold to Apple. Color has now partnered with Verizon to help spread the life-streaming service app. The app will be packaged on Verizon phones to have a higher frame rate. This is what Nyugen said in a blog post:

[T]he relationship with Verizon represents our entire vision for the future. One day in the near future, you will be able to capture every moment and share it LIVE in beautiful HD quality and you’ll have the recorded video to keep.

Color is also planning to have 720p live streaming by the end of the year.
