Facebook Launches App Center To Find Social Apps

Facebook has announced a central location to find social apps that are link to the social network called App Center. App Center gives developers a way to grow their apps. Soon people will be able to access the App Center on the web, iOS, and Android. All canvas, mobile, and web apps that follow the guidelines can be listed on the App Center.

Apps that are already listed on the App Center include Draw Something, Pinterest, Spotify, Viddy, Battle Pirates, and Bubble Witch Saga. Every app has a detail page that helps people see what makes the app unique and lets them install it before going into the app.

The quality of an app will be based on user ratings and engagement to qualify in being listed in App Center. Within Facebook Insights, there will be a new app ratings metric.

Paid Apps
Developers can set up the option to create paid apps. There is a simple-to-implement payment feature that allows people to pay a flat fee to use an app on Facebook.com. If you want to receive more information about paid apps in the beta program, you can sign up to receive more information.
