First Generation iPad Prototype With Two Dock Connectors Selling On eBay

When the iPad was announced in early 2010, the device was sold with a single dock connector oriented in portrait mode. A prototype of this device had included a second dock connector designed for landscape orientation. Apple originally intended for the iPad to have dual dock connectors, but scrapped the idea in favor of a single port for simplicity. The prototype iPad with two docks is being sold on eBay and it has already hit over 23 bids at $10,000+. The prototype is nearly in functional condition and only minor repairs would be required.
