Mindshapes Raises $4 Million

Mindshapes is a London-based application development startup that has raised $4 million in funding from Index Ventures, Richmond Park Partners, and other existing investors. Mindshapes was co-founded in 2010 by chairman Shukri Shammas, CTO Sami Lababidi, CEO David Begg, CCO Christian Dorffer, and CFO Tareq Naqib. Mindshapes is known for building multi-platform and educational games for adults and kids. The startup has created 9 educational apps for iOS. The company will release a new game called Magic Town soon, which is a virtual world based on the characters Winnie The Witch, Elmer, and Little Princess. Mindshapes as offices in London, NY, and San Francisco.
