Instapaper Now Available For Android

Instapaper is an application that lets you save websites for reading later. The app supports an offline reader and readability optimization. Instapaper has been saying for a while that they will be focusing on only an iOS app and did not have time to work on additional platforms. However an Android Instapaper Android app is now available for download today at a price of $2.99.

Instapaper has a simple user interface to read saved websites offline. The app has three options for articles: Read Later, Like, and Archive. The saved articles are stripped down. There is a light/dark mode, brightness adjustment, full screen mode, and font spacing/sizing.

Through the Android app, you can share articles through e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media services. The app works on Android smartphones version 2.2 and up. Instapaper is working on getting the app to work on multiple tablets.
