According to Flurry, a data research company, app developers are more loyal to iOS despite Android having a lead marketshare. In Q1 2012, 69% of developers started an iOS project while 31% started an Android project. For every 10 new apps started by a developer, seven are for the iPhone and three are for Android. Having a lead marketshare is great for Android, but having developers is crucial for additional revenue generation.
