Credit Sesame Raises $20 Million In Series B

Credit Sesame is a personal financial service that has raised $12 million in Series B funding. This round of funding was led by Globespan Capital Partners. Existing investors Menlo Ventures and Inventus Capital also participated in this round. The company plans to use the funding for product development and market reach. The service shows consumers insights on how to manage their debt and show them ways to save money. The service uses advanced analytics developed by scientists at Stanford University. Credit Sesame launched in April 2010 and previously raised $7.35 million.
