Facebook’s Growth Starts To Slow Down
According to comScore, Facebook’s U.S. visitors hit 158 million in April 2012, which is up just 5% from a year ago. This was the slowest growth rate since comScore started tracking Facebook in 2008. This rate is down from a 24% growth in April 2011 and an 89% growth in April 2010. The growth rate in terms of the amount of time that people spend on Facebook is up 16% from a year ago, but they saw a 23% rise in the same month in 2011 and a 57% rise in 2010.
