Acer Aspire S5 Is The World’s Thinnest Ultrabook

Acer has announced the Acer Aspire S5 ultrabook. This is the first ultrabook to have a Thunderbolt port. The S5 weighs 2.65 pounds and is 0.44 inches at its thinnest point and 0.59 inches at its thickest point. The new MacBook Air is 0.68 inches at its thinnest point. The Aspire S5 has a 13.3-inch LED backlit screen, Intel Core i7-3517U Ivy Bridge processor, 4GB of RAM, and 256GB solid state drive. The Aspire S5 has a Thunderbolt port, HDMI port, and USB 3.0 ports in a hidden “MagicFlip” I/O section according to ZDNet. The Aspire S5 costs $1,399.99 after it goes on sale during the last week of the month.
