MightyText is a service for Android that launched today, which syncs text messages to any web browser. It is known as an “iMessage for Android.” The service can also sync Android text messages across devices, similar to a feature that was announced for iOS 6. The MightyText beta has around 250,000 users, but it has now launched as a web and Android app. The Android app links your existing number to your Google account and then you can use the web app or browser extension to view and send texts, see missed calls, or archive messages. MightyText lets you sync messages from almost any browser and send them to any phone.
