Google has improved the feedback form on the Chrome Web Store. As the apps and extension count on the Web Store has been increase so has the amount of reviews and feedback being left for developers. Up until now, there was no way to separate a user’s review of an app’s features and quality from developer-focused feedback like the reporting of bugs and feature requests. Now there is a clean separation between the bugs and compatibility issues to developers and the ratings/comments that users leave in the store relating to the functionality and usefulness of an app. This helps prevent duplicate issue reporting. To enable the feature, developers will need to go to their dashboard and click on the “Edit your User Feedback preferences” option.
