Microsoft Sends Take-Downs To Websites Hosting The Xbox 720 Leaked Doc
This past weekend, a 56-page document about Microsoft’s plans for the Xbox 720 started spreading on the Internet. Some of the ideas that were listed included a Glasses product and Kinect 2 being able to support multiple players. The document was uploaded to Scribd and Dropbox. It was removed from Scribd quickly by international law firm Covington & Burling, who has Microsoft listed as a client. Microsoft sent take-down notices to websites like Dropbox and Ihned.cz. Below is the listed that was sent to Ihned.cz by Internet Investigator Alan Radford on behalf of Microsoft:
Microsoft has received information that the domain listed above, which appears to be on servers under your control, is offering unlicensed copies of, or is engaged in other unauthorized activities relating to copyrighted works published by Microsoft.
