Disable Screen Flipping
If you want your iPhone to stop flipping horizontally and vertically, you can disable that feature easily. Double click the iPhone home button and it will bring up a list of recently opened apps. Swipe right so that you can see the top/play/skip track controls — you will notice a gray icon with a circular arrow. Click on that icon and it will show a locked orientation.
Some of these were pretty basic but very helpful to someone who is new to the iPhone. But I will say the one iPhone camera tip that I had NO idea you could do was taking a picture with your headphones volume button. Thanks for the tips!
