Adobe Stops Supporting Flash Player On Android 4.1

Adobe Systems said that they will no longer be supporting the Adobe Flash Player on the Nexus 7 or future Jelly Bean device. Flash will not be supported on Android 4.1 at launch and they have stopped development of the Flash on Android entirely.

Adobe added that there will be no certified implementations of Flash Player for Android 4.1 and beginning on August 15th, Adobe will limit access to updates to only users that have the Flash Player installed.

If you have not installed Flash Player on your device, Adobe said that you will have until August 15th to install it on your device before it starts limiting support and future downloads through Google Play.

You may still be able to run Flash Player on Android 4.1, but Adobe warns of unpredictable behavior and recommends uninstalling it.
