VLC 2.0.2 Has Retina Display Support

VideoLAN, the portable multimedia player and encoder, has been updated to version 2.0.2 with several new features.  For those of you that purchased a MacBook Pro with Retina Display, you will notice that the updated version of VLC supports the high-resolution screen, including icons, menus, and the video content.  VLC 2.0.2 no longer has the “building font cache” window that pops up after every single update, which delays movie watching.  VLC 2.0.2 has support for Growl 1.3 and the “keep aspect ratio” when resizing option.  You can download the new version here.
