Apple Fixes Server Bug That Caused Apps To Crush

Apple said earlier this week that they have resolved a server issue that results in some apps that were downloaded from the App Store to crash when being launched.

“We had a temporary issue that began yesterday with a server that generated DRM code for some apps being downloaded,” said Apple in a statement to AllThingsD.  “The issue has been rectified and we don’t expect it to occur again,” Apple said. Those who have an affected app can re-download it from the App Store.

Two of the apps that were affected include Instapaper and GoodReader.
