Ouya Android Game Console Blows Past $2.3 Million In Kickstarter Funding

The Ouya Android gaming console has surpassed $2.3 million in Kickstarter funding.  The console surpassed $1 million in funding in 8 hours and over 25,000 backers put money into the project within 24 hours.  The Ouya Android game console will cost $99 to buy.  The Ouya gaming console will have a Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, USB, and 1080p HDMI connection to a TV.  Ouya has a wireless controller with two analog joysticks, a d-pad, and eight action buttons.  The Ouya console is powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
