Sprint Galaxy S III Removes Local Search Abilities

Yesterday the Sprint Galaxy S III released a small security updated over the air, but many people did not know what was changed.  One thing that has been changed is that you can no longer use the Google search bar to search for local content on the device.  It is believed that the Galaxy S III’s local search abilities was removed as part of a legal battle between Apple and Samsung where the search ability put the Galaxy Nexus on a do-no-sell list.
