HTC Desire HD Will Not Have An Android 4.0 Update

HTC Desire HD

HTC said that the HTC Desire HD smartphone will not be upgraded to Google Android 4.0.  An upgrade on the device would not be in the best interest and would be skipped over.  The Desire HD is currently running on Google Android 2.3.  Below is what HTC said about the the smartphone:

“After extensive testing, we’ve determined that the current version ofHTC Sense with Android provides customers with the best experience on the HTC Desire HD. When we consider new versions of software, we weigh a number of factors, but ultimately the customer experience on the product is the deciding factor. We apologize for any confusion this change may have caused our customers.”

Google Android 4.0 (Jelly Bean) will be updated for the HTC One and HTC One S.
