James Holmes Was Rejected Three Times On AdultFriendFinder Before Aurora Shooting

Earlier we reported that James Holmes, the Aurora, Colardo movie theater shooter, had a disturbing profile on AdultFriendFinder.  He was on the website looking for a one-night stand in the days before the “Dark Knight” shooting.  He was rejected three times through the website.  His profile has been removed by AdultFriendFinder administrators since then.  He had reached out to multiple women in the weeks leading to the attack and was rejected by all 3.

They rejected his advances and refused requests to meet up.  One of the women that James Holmes reached out to mentioned that he was not necessarily looking for sex, but was “just looking to maybe chat … nothing sexual.” The woman rejected him because he wasn’t her type.  Holmes was also rejected by a shooting range that he applied to join, which was the Lead Valley Range in Byers on June 25th.

The owner called the number listed on the application to follow-up and invited Holmes to a mandatory orientation.  The call went to his voicemail.  After hearing a “bizarre – guttural, freakish at best,” message, the shooting range decided to decline Holmes a membership.

James Holmes Was Rejected Three Times On AdultFriendFinder Before Aurora Shooting Comments

  1. Addiction Myth says:

This reminds me of the LA Fitness shooter in PA who killed because apparently he was tired of being ignored or rejected by girls. It’s strange that he only wrote 3 girls over several weeks. Maybe he wanted to get rejected to increase his anger and rationalization for his crime.
