Twitter and NBC Team Up To Create A Hub Page For The London Olympics

Twitter and NBC are partnering to create a hub page for the London Olympics.  Twitter will act as the “official narrator” of the Olympics Games.  The Wall Street Journal is reporting that tweets from athletes, fans, and TV personalities will be hosted online and curated on a page that NBC will promote through broadcasts.  Twitter is not paying NBC for the opportunity, but they will see it as a way to expand their audience beyond their 140 million monthly active users.
