Samsung Removes Local Search Option From International Galaxy S III Versions

Samsung has started to remove the local search feature from the Galaxy S III handsets in the United States as a “precautionary measure to ensure that U.S. consumers may enjoy using our innovative products without interruption.”  Samsung essentially does not want to deal with a Galaxy S III ban by an injunction from Apple as part of a patent lawsuit.  Samsung is now removing local search from international handsets to prevent an injunction from Apple too.  Samsung released this update over-the-air as part of a 27MB download.
