Deadspin has written an article about how ESPN SportsCenter anchor Chris Cotter read a story about NBA player Dwight Howard meeting with general manager Rob Hennigan. Cotter read a word-for-word transcript of a post from RealGM.com without crediting the author, Jarrod Rudolph. This is not the first time that ESPN is being accused of plagiarism. ESPN fired Will Selva for taking the words from the Orange County Register in 2010. Currently it is unknown who handed Cotter the transcript, but I’m sure that ESPN is investigating it as we speak.
