Kent State Student William Koberna Gets Arrested For Threatening School On Twitter
William Koberna is a 19-year-old Kent State University student that threatened to “shoot up” the school on Twitter. Tweets about shooting up anything will be taken very seriously these days especially considering what just happened in Aurora, Colorado.
Koberna’s exact words on Twitter was not released and it can no longer be seen on his Twitter account. The threat was made on July 25th and shortly after, his parents’ home in Brunswick was searched with a warrant.
Koberna was arrested from his parents’ home. “Any threat to our campus community is taken seriously and immediately investigated… Our students, employees, and all those who come to campus should know that their safety is our top priority,” stated Kent State president Lester Lefton.
