YouTube To Spend Another $200 Million For Original Content

Earlier this year, Google committed $150 million to launch close to 100 new online video channels with celebrities like Amy Poehler and NBA athlete Blake Griffin.  It turns out that advertisers are willing to pay a premium to have display ads placed next to them.  Google plans to create more original programming and expand internationally.  They are targeting French and British viewers next year and plans to spend $200 million more on additional original content.  Watch out Hulu.
